In Awesome Wonder was written for the Canadian Staff Band’s 50th anniversary concert in 2019 and was premiered by the five North American staff bands. The piece is based around How Great Thou Art which is both grand and contemplative in melody and words. Book ended by an original fanfare motif; the piece builds to a mighty conclusion displaying a glimpse of the awesome wonder of God.
